I’m Vaidas Šukys, a contemporary artist from Lithuania working primarily with acrylic on canvas.

I explore the relationship between geometric forms and layers, looking for the point where abstraction begins to feel human.

For me, painting is a process of simplification. I leave only what feels essential: bold color, clear form, and minimal detail. Forms overlap and separate, concealing and revealing one another. Through these relationships, something familiar can emerge: a presence, a character, or a feeling.

Rather than defining what the viewer should see, I leave space for interpretation. Each person can bring their own thoughts, experiences, and story into the work.
